BASIC INFO NEEDED TO FINANCE ENERGY PROJECTS IN GENERAL
  • What are you planning to do, brief info?  
  • Executive Summary: NOT exceeding 10 pages overview of the project, what is planed here?
  • Business Plan: NOT exceeding 50 pages, build upon the ex-sum document, more detailed.
  • PROBLEMS: Why is it not funded/ sold yet, experience with other lenders, institutions. 
  • Team, bio on principals: Short ¼ page each, why you chose these people, experience, positions….
  • Company history: Financials, last year and interim statements of current year, past and future performance, ROI, market study, etc.
  • Cash/ Equity on hand: 5-10% or more in cash is preferred or equal in assets like Real Estate, commodities or other companies you own.
  • $ Invested till today? How much is invested so far, simple list with proof.
  • How will the monthly payment be secured? Income streams, guarantor, $ cash or other.
  • Investors proposal: Please lay out your offering towards the investor.
  • Total cost, draw-down schedule: Itemized use of funds with timing schedule.
  • Asking price, based on what factor? Provide the calculations due to industry standards.
  • Financial: Willingness to sell, willingness to build for purchaser, possible O&M?
  • Equity: Are you willing to give up equity over 51% for financing period with a buy back option after loan is paid in full, if not how much?
  • What kind of capital are you looking for, ideal situation? Debt/ Equity/ JV or are you looking to sell at current stage, if so why?
  • Permits/ Feasibility study: Where is the permitting for construction and approvals, list of which ones are needed, stage of development for each single one, been applied for and are they approved.
  • Contracts: Credit ratings, AAA+ to BBB, returns, etc.?
  • Calculations/ Studies: Data and who has conducted the studies and engineering?
  • End products and amounts?
  • EPC: Is it under contract or can the developers take it over?
  • Developer: Is the project developer financially sound, is the developer experienced in building these systems and is the developer able to be bonded?
  • Technology/ Material/ other: What is it, simply layout, grade 6 student should understand, which manufacturer is slated to be used, are the equipment permits are in place, can the supplier still be changed, are any contracts are signed, is it proven technology, is it in operation somewhere else?
  • Agreements: Are these in place, if so, what place in the queue or what needs to be done to get the final application signed off on?
  • Land: Is the land leased, if so how long are the lease agreements, is the land owned, how many acres, how much land is needed?
  • General Geographical Area? Country, state, province, area, registrations, pictures of operation, air pictures, possible google coordinates.
  • Financial performa, cash-flow of current project: One, three and five years low/ medium and high, when the project is able to go into production, when will it be profitable?
  • ROI and exit strategy?

  • Mining plan in being worked out? Jorc report, detailed mining plan, cost for mining per ounce. 
  • Product: Ore, dust, dore, breakdown of the material needed, what else is in the material being sold, example: Radium, silver, copper, nickel, etc.
  • General geographical area? Country, state, province, area, claims reports, registrations, pictures of operation, air pictures, possible google coordinates.
  • Water supply? Well, river, other?
  • Power supply? What kind, cost, etc.?
  • How much land, how big is the claimed area?
  • Can the area be extended? If so, what is in place for expansions or options?
  • Accessible year round? By air, road conditions, trucking possible year round?
  • Operating time? From when till when and peak season?
  • What other metals are produced and how much?
  • Chemical use? What chemical are used to in the process, what process/ equipment?
  • How much gold and other materials have been removed from the mine? Exact amount, KG/ MT?
  • How much mined material is on site? Assay documentation needed. 
  • How much gold is estimated to remain in the mine? Geological report, 43-101 preferred with original signature and seal and date, please color scan original for verification purpose.
  • What mining equipment is included with the purchase price? Detailed list, bullet-form, equipment make, age, condition, owned/ leased, Richie Brothers auction price.
  • Smelter/ Refinery and or a Mint on site? What kind, make model, etc. see above.
